West Lincoln
Co-Operative
Nursery School

Our Teacher
Our current RECE, Miss Penny, has been working with children for over 35 years. Miss Penny embraces every opportunity to encourage each child to grow and develop within our nursery school. She encourages children to reach their highest potential, knowing they are competent and capable. Every student that walks through the doors of the WLCNS develops their own relationship with Miss Penny. She is attentive to each of their individual needs and helps to establish and enable a life-long learning relationship with all mentors your child may encounter throughout their lifetime.
Miss Penny graduated in 1989 with an Early Childhood Education Diploma. She has worked in various daycare settings, including the YMCA, but has been with the West Lincoln Co-Op for over 25 years. She is the loving mother of her two children, Logan and Paige and has been married to her loving husband for 24 years. When Miss Penny is not working with her students, she enjoys watching her daughter play hockey, scrapbooking, pickling, and working in her vegetable garden! She looks forward to the summer months to spend time with her family and friends at the cottage or while camping.
